ThermaQ 2 is ready to go out of the box. No connection or app needed. Reads four temperatures at once from professional Type K thermocouple probes. Designed for competition BBQ teams and chef-level Sous Vide cooking, ThermaQ 2 provides settable high and low alarms for all four channels with easy-to-use buttons and an alarm volume up to 100 decibels.
ThermaQ 2 has a large, info-rich display and backlight to deliver the right temperature info with easy-to-use buttons. The smart display will recognize which probes are in use and will auto-switch between channels 1,2 and 3,4; or control it using the up and down arrows. The Min/Max temps are shown for instant recollection of your start temperature and the peaks when you weren't looking. Clear them anytime and use them to track the stability of your cooker.
Set the high alarm to alert you to food doneness or to an overheating cooker. Set the low alarm to alert you when something has cooled to a target temperature or that your cooker is low on fuel. Use both low and high to help you control a narrow heating band when you're doing a long cook.
Alarm volume is adjustable in four levels. At its highest, ThermaQ 2 hits 100 decibels and can be heard from a distance or in loud commercial kitchens. A bright backlight comes on at the press of a button—perfect for afternoon or nighttime cooks. Stays on for 20 seconds.

Comes with a protective rubber boot for drop protection and features a tilt-stand for the countertop and magnets on the back for mounting on a surface. Includes batteries, a zippered vinyl case, and colored probe rings to help you keep track of your probes. Each unit has a NIST-Traceable calibration certificate with test data from that unit to demonstrate its accuracy.
