How to take a reading
1. Power on and position
Press the “START” button to turn on the thermometer, then hold it 1 to 2 inches (3 to 5 cm) from the center of the forehead.
2. Take the reading
Press the “START” button again to measure. The result will display in just one second, with beeping and a red light indicating a fever.
3. Power off or review
The thermometer will automatically turn off after one minute of idle time. To review your latest reading, press “START” again.
