*Response time specification is 30 minutes from ambient to 32°F. The sensor was embedded in the housing to intentionally slow the response time. This eliminates large temperature changes (for instance when a fridge door is opened) and also prevents artificial MAX recordings. Once RH SPOT is acclimated to the ambient temperature and humidity, it will respond quickly.
*Humidity will not display below 32°F.

See your data from any angle and read it from across the room with the large, easy-to-read, backlit digits. The display goes to sleep in the dark to save battery life. Both the display and the backlight come on automatically in the presence of light, such as when a door is opened. Or you can activate the backlight at any time by pressing the button.
Hold the button down for 4 seconds to cycle through the Max and Min readings for both temperature and humidity. That way you can see how cold it got over night or how humid it was during the day.
