- Interchangeable thermocouples
- System cal feature to adjust for probe error
- Includes NIST-Traceable calibration certificate
- Includes Hold, Max and Min functions
If you want a serious thermocouple meter, this is it. The automatic self-calibration feature means you should never need to adjust the meter's calibration. Each time you certify or check the meter's accuracy, you should find it well within the original specification. However, if you want to maximize "system" (meter and probe) accuracy, you can adjust the reading of the meter up to ±2.5°C to offset for any probe errors. This makes the MicroTherma 2 a perfect choice for quality or safety programs.
You also get a hold feature to capture readings when you can't look at the display. The Min and Max recall stores readings so you can monitor highs and lows without watching the display yourself. Resolution is a very solid 0.1° C or F below 2000°. Above this point the display auto-ranges to 1° resolution. The MicroTherma 2 is available in any of seven common thermocouple types. The type K model is the most popular and it can be used with any of our type K probes or any from other manufacturers. If you want the limitless flexibility of using countless probe designs interchangeably, the MicroTherma 2 will give you better accuracy than any other handheld meter.
