Director of Marketing
The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in a direct-marketing business model with the development of a strong and unique commercial or consumer brand. You will inspire the performance of a multi-disciplined, in-house marketing team in a high-growth environment. Skills in teamwork with senior peers is required. Must have the ability to coach, lead and ensure completion of projects on-time. We do not like Org Charts and want to find a seasoned leader that is willing to drop corporate hierarchy and help develop less experienced team members into self-managed contributors.
Will have responsibility for direct-marketing, brand development and discipline, copy writing, eCommerce, email campaigns, print catalogs, PR, social media, content development, events and tradeshows, database development (house list & customer acquisition).
Includes all marketing efforts for commercial market segments as well as the broader consumer market.
We're looking for a marketing leader who will understand our success, and can further exploit our strengths.
The strongest candidate will have a technical consumer-product background. Experience with commercial food service products and/or housewares is helpful but not required. Employment experience with a company that sells its own branded product, direct-online, is the ideal.
