Originally designed for measuring burgers, steaks and thin meat portions, this probe is often chosen for other purposes because it's diameter is smaller than our handheld needle probe and it's a bit quicker while leaving an even smaller hole. The 3.35" length allows you to reach the center of even a large burger when entering from the side, or it will reach the center of roasts for an extremely fast measurement. An optional detachable coiled or straight extension lead is also available.
